| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 35 lapām. Tas satur 26 attēlus, 1 pielikumu un 21 atsauci uz literatūras avotiem.
Darba mērķis: novērtēt pūļa efekta redzes lauka perifērijā un lasītprasmes savstarpējo ietekmi.
Metode: pētījuma dalībniekam, fiksējot skatu uz mērķa stimulu, bija jānosauc vidējais no trim perifērijā rādītajiem burtiem.
Rezultāti: pūļa efekts bija izteiktāks kreisajā redzes lauka pusē. Pieaugot lasīšanas ātrumam, palielinājās atšķirība starp pūļa efektu labajā un kreisajā pusē. Pastāv nozīmīga korelācija starp pūļa efektu labajā pusē un lasīšanas ātrumu.

| dc.description.abstract | Bachelor thesis is written in Latvian. It contains 35 pages, 26 images, 1 appendix and 21 references.
Purpose: to evaluate an interaction between crowding effect in peripheral vision and reading skills.
Methods: subjects task was to recognize the middle letter between two other letters, while fixating on the target stimulus.
Results: crowding is bigger in left visual field. Assimetry of crowding effect in right and left visual field increasing by increase of reading rate. There are correlation between crowding effect in right visual field and reading rate.
